The first ever round of golf played at Goodwood was in 1901 when the 6th Duke of Richmond opened the course on the Downs above Goodwood House. Since then, the club has played host to many famous golfers and society faces including the Prince of Wales (later King Edward VII), the Duke of York (later King George VI), and, particularly during Goodwood’s famous festival Glorious Goodwood, many well-known jockeys and racehorse owners. With stunning views across rolling English countryside it is easy to see why.
With two distinctive championship courses, Golf At Goodwood allows you the rare opportunity to play both a parkland and downland course within the same venue.
Choose from the challenging Downs Course with its tricky doglegs and long sweeping greens or the quintessentially English parkland course, the Park, where the tree-lined fairways wind through the grounds of Goodwood House.

After arriving at the starting point at the Motor Circuit, you will get behind the wheel of one of our BMW X3 or X5 models to undertake a 90 minute off-road adventure experience around the 12,000 acre Goodwood Estate. Off-road driving experiences can be booked through the ticket office on 01243 755055.

Spend the night in one of Goodwood Hotel's signature bedroom's for just £170 per night. This rate includes your bedroom and luxury breakfast! This price is based on single occupancy and will be £10 supplement per night for double occupancy.
